Expressive Arts meets Textiles
The cast of ‘Grease’ continue to work hard in rehearsals every night after school in preparation for their performance on 13th-15th December. Some of our cast proudly showcased at ‘The Big Kirk Hallam Thank You Awards’ on the 20th October, providing the audience with a sneak peak of their ongoing efforts.
We are also very excited to involve our very talented GCSE Textiles students in the production process. The students are currently working hard making a selection of 1950’s style skirts for our ‘Pink Ladies’ to wear in the show. Staff involved in Grease are particularly impressed with the high level of team work being reflected in rehearsal time and feel the production is allowing students to build positive relationships across a range of year groups.
