Expressive Arts Rotation
This half term has seen our first Expressive Arts enrichment rotation put into practice on Thursdays after school with a group of Year 7 students. The theme for this rotation has been ‘Grease’, tying in with our Christmas production. Pupils have attended four sessions involving the designing of promotional material such as posters with E Moran, a dance workshop with K Egbury and script to stage work with K Stacey. In the final session, students were able to watch and get involved in a Grease rehearsal lead by C Blundell and L Eames. The Expressive Arts department look forward to our next rotation with Year 8 students and hope to see an increase in the amount of pupils involved.
