Course overview
You will study three separate sciences gaining three GCSEs: GCSE biology, GCSE chemistry and GCSE physics. You are awarded individual grades for each of the three sciences.
Triple scientists’ study all the content from the biology, chemistry, and physics disciplines of GCSE combined science, but with added extra material in each discipline. For example, in physics you will study an astronomy unit, which explores ideas about the solar system, life cycle of stars and discussing evidence for the origin of the universe. In addition to the additional content the triple award also delves deeper into the different disciplines, allowing students to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the separate branches of science. It provides a solid foundation for advanced study in biology, chemistry and physics to build upon in future education.
