The curriculum is delivered in a two-week timetable. Lessons are one hour long and there are five periods per day. Consolidation time takes place each day for 30 minutes which includes registration, tutor tasks and time for students to complete Out of Lesson Learning tasks and respond to marking and feedback.

Kirk Hallam’s curriculum reflects our high aspirations for our pupils’ future achievements, and life choices and chances.

In KS3 students follow the National Curriculum. In Year 9 students can opt to take a second modern foreign language in preparation for GCSE.

PSHE is delivered through ‘impact days’ at KS4.
