KHCA celebrates World Book Day!
Reading for pleasure is a vital indicator of a young person’s future success. We want to see more of our students embed a life-long habit of reading for pleasure and the improved life chances this brings them.
A programme of events was held for students including an introduction to using our new Learning Resource Centre, a 'Where's Wally?' hunt, and book review lessons in key stage 3.
Students enjoyed asking their teachers about their fancy dress costumes and what book they were inspired by.
A big thanks to our English team and our Learning Resource Centre co-ordinator for holding a fun-filled whole school event.
