Admission Arrangements for year 7 September intake 2020/2021
Kirk Hallam Community Academy participates in the Derbyshire County Council's coordinated scheme for the September Year 7 intake and applications should be made directly to them. For those children who live outside Derbyshire county, parents and carers should apply on a common application form through their 'home' county.
The closing date for the coordinated admission scheme is 31 October preceding to admission to secondary school. Places are allocated on the National Offer Day: 2nd March. More information is available on the Derbyshire County Council Admission web page
Appeals
Places in Year 7 at Kirk Hallam Community Academy for September 2020 will be allocated on 2nd March 2020 and parents/carers will be notified by Derbyshire County Council.
If you wish to appeal against a decision you can appeal online or in writing to Derbyshire County Council Appeals. For Appeals made in the 2020-2021 admission round (to start year 7 in September 2020) parents/carers should return the completed form to Derbyshire County Council by 29th March.
