How much homework should my child be doing?
Key Stage 3-each subject 20-30 minutes
Key Stage 4-each subject 1 hour
Key Stage 5-2 pieces of 90 minute home learning, per subject
Vocabulary
Years 7 to 10 home learning focuses on vocabulary for their home learning due to the positive impact this has on students. Students should be provided with one vocabulary word per subject each week and learn this using the Frayer model.
