Sixth Form results

Kirk Hallam Academy students are today celebrating their A-Level results.

A total of 46 students sat A-levels this year with over 90% passing. Nearly one third of A-Level students achieved an A*-B pass.

Several students achieved an A* in their subjects demonstrating the hard work and dedication of staff and students alike.

Damian Belshaw, Head of School, said: “I am very proud of our students and want to congratulate them on their success. They have shown great commitment, determination and resilience, as we strive for excellence in everything that we do.”

He added: “I would like to thank staff, parents, the governing body, and Nova Education Trust, who provided support during this extraordinary time, for their commitment and support as we celebrate another milestone for our students.”

Dr Tom Bennison, Director of College, stated “I am immensely proud of all our students’ achievements – it has been a difficult couple of years for them to be studying for A-Levels and the resolve they have shown through multiple periods of remote learning has been incredible”.

One stand out performance has been that of our Head Student Sophie Keenan. She achieved 4 A* in her A-Level subjects and an A* for her EPQ. She is going to New College at the University of Oxford to read Mathematics.

We wish all our students the best of luck for the future and their chosen pathways.
