Preparation for the DofE expedition is underway!
In summer, year 9 and 10 students will be completing an expedition as part of their Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme.
The aim is to inspire young people to develop initiative and a spirit of adventure and discovery by planning, training for and completing an adventurous self-sufficient journey as part of a team.
Students are currently undertaking a training programme including putting up tents, outdoor cooking, first aid and map reading.
We look forward to sharing updates as the group members progress towards their Award.
